Disney Channel's This Is Who I Am: Rowan Blanchard

I worked on this promo shoot a couple months ago for Rowan Blanchard and it's showing now on the Disney Channel!  Rowan plays Riley Matthews on the Disney Channel's Girl Meets World.  Do you guys remember Boy Meets World from back in the day?  I loved that show, every Friday on TGIF! It's a spin off with Corey and Topanga as her parents, very cute!

I had fun dressing Rowan and her family for this shoot and it was a beautiful day in Malibu (my first time in Malibu!). There was sand everywhere, but I am so grateful for this job and to have worked with a great crew!

We just shot another promo with another Disney actress, Piper Curda, so look out for that on the Disney Channel too!

I love what I do and I am so grateful to work with and meet such cool people on my journey. Thanks to all of you for your love and support.

XOXO

Cimorelli Band for Subway

I worked with the Cimorelli girls on this Subway promo back in January and just found it online!

The Cimorelli Band is a singing group of 6 sisters, all very talented and a delight to be around.

Dahlia Foroutan (costume designer for Hannah Montana and My Wife and Kids) and I had so much fun styling the girls for this and for their new web series which will be releasing this summer, so watch out for that.

The girls have the cutest outfits in their summer series.  I'm really excited about watching it.  All the girls have their own distinct style and such sweet personalities; we had a great time creating so many different looks. I was coveting most of all of Lauren's closet, a girl after my own wardrobe heart.

How do you think they look?

Drifter Stills

Drifter is a short I worked on with a friend, Adam Christy.  Adam is a talented actor, as well as writer and director. Though he did not act in this film he wrote, directed, and produced it.  Thanks to Adam for letting me part of this cool project.

What I'm Wearing: New Year's Eve

Happy new year! 2013 Woo hoo!  I hope you all had a lovely and safe time ringing in the new year!  It was too cold to be cute last night; here are a few pics of what I wore.
Isn't this girly tuxedo shirt fun?  I love girly made, men inspired pieces.

What I'm Wearing...Holiday

The holiday season is filled with lots of get-togethers with everyone from family, friends and even coworkers.  It can be a lot of fun to dress up for the occasions, most people even buy entire new holiday outfits this time of year.  It's difficult not to shop for yourself when you're shopping for others.

Contrary to what a lot of people think, I don't shop for myself as much as I shop for others (maybe that's why I do what I do).  Everything I wore to this weekend's holiday party was bought a while ago, the newest being the shoes which were bought over the summer.  I had to have them, they're rose gold!  The jacket is about 3 years old and the dress I wore last year for new years.  You can also recycle your clothes as long as you buy quality pieces, it's easy and fun to mix and match to create new looks.  It's also necessary when you're ballin on a budget (like me).

Sorry that I had to take mirror pictures to show  you my outfit.  I don't have a professional photographer that follows me around like a lot of the other bloggers out there.  It's just me (by myself, one iPhone). ;)

Thank you for coming by! Happy Holidays and be safe out there!

xoxo

Disney Channel Holiday Promotion

I got the opportunity to style Olivia Holt of Disney XD's Kickin' It for this Disney Channel Holiday promotion.  I love working with Olivia; she is sweet and loves pretty much everything I bring to her.

We wanted to do something Holiday-esque without being too dressy or too literal.  I love metallics during the cold months, something about sparkle when it's cold outside is so fun and lively.  I love this golden color because it can be worn from fall through the winter, it's very warm and looks good on most skin tones.

Styling Olivia is fun because she let's me put a twist on traditional outfits. For example this one here: it's a button front shirt with a pullover sweater but the shirt has a flowy draped effect and cool studs on the collar, sweater has a great stripe texture, not your traditional solid. Pair this with her awesome colored jeans, they have a waxy red finish and front ankle zippers! I topped it off with a few small gold accessories and pearls, Olivia's own black booties and we have her complete look!

Doesn't she look great? I love this outfit!

Sparkly!

Saw these on instagram today...how fun would these be for the holiday season? I love them!
Wear the set together or separate...there are lots of options for these.  I would certainly wear sparkly hot pants with matching bralette.  These are from Motel Rocks.

The Voice Season 3 Live

Have you all been watching?  I have the amazing opportunity to work on this show recently and it has been so much fun!  All the contestants are very talented and everyone on the crew is great to work with!  I am having a blast.
Did you catch the live shows last week?  It was my first time working on a live show and those 2 hours go by very fast.
Here are a few pictures from my first night doing a live The Voice show (Monday, November 5th).
More pictures can be found on the website at THE VOICE website.
